There are still people driving motor scooters on the sidewalks because they don't want to bother to make a left turn on the street.

Motorcycle riders & drivers in Kaohsiung violate all kinds of regulations. Many people leave junk or park their cars in the 騎樓 (arcades), even though those are supposedly for pedestrian use.
